To see a beautiful flower bloom, To witness a caterpillar get off the cocoon To get drenched in showering monsoon With open arms, life is calling you To breathe fresh air on a mountain top To feel the wetness of a morning dew drop To fly like a bird in a sky so high How I wish I had another life to die To pacify a child on hearing his cry To have opportunities to learn and try To grow a tree from a tiny crop Life is just commas, with no full-stop To spread happiness with a smiling face To just love, not hate the human race To experience the life’s glowing grace This world needs to be a better place Leave behind those memories aghast Make peace with your pricking past Build relationships forever to last Just wait and feel, don’t run so fast Enjoy a living where happiness is rife With these small pleasures of life!!! -Happiness, Kally

Born and brought up, he grew in his land, Got wet in the rains, played in its sand, As years passed by, there came a time No money at home, no food to dine. Far away from his home, he found some work Didn’t care for the pain, didn’t feel the jerk, Struggled with time in absolute lurk As few days at home, was his only perk. A war partitioned the country line, Busy with his work, he had no sign While going back home, this issue inclined But no one to help nor listen to his whine. Helpless and depressed, frustrated was his mind Every tear was revealing what he left behind Nor could he cut off, nor ignore the bind All he wished was if only time could rewind In his own country, as a foreigner he came Religion based partiality cropped up by his name Everything had changed, nothing was the same He felt like a pawn in a political game With laws and rules, timing his span To meet his own people, there was a ban With neither government having a rescue plan He endured a life of a ‘No Land’s Man’!...

Religion- the belief in and worship of a God or gods (as defined by Oxford Dictionary). But seems like people have misconstrued it as 'Religion - to make the others change their belief and make them worship the god you believe in. Recently Kandhamal in Orissa and many other places in the past, unfortunately, has been a prey to this (mis) understanding. Being a resident of I.C. Colony (Indian Christian Colony) in Borivali, I remember so many times walking on the streets and being stopped by these so called disciples of Christ who first ask your name just to know which religion you belong to. Once they know you are not a Christian, they make a desperate attempt explaining how irrational and unreal your religion in particular is. They then give you the facts and figures about Christianity and how only Jesus Christ is the TRUE LORD. I believe in HUMANITY, I am not against or with any religion. It's a matter of personal belief. But I never understood why do these people belonging to...

I know I have taken toooooo long a time to come back here and write- something i really love doing. But now i am back and back with a bang. I have promised myself to write when i feel like and not be lazy waiting for some other day and some other time. Lot has changed in this one year, one month. My PDGBM course is come to an end [without any campus placements :(.] and guess what? I GOT MARRIED to my 7 year old friend and my 3 & 1/2 year old sweetheart Sabu [ that equates to a decade of knowing him!] All the juicy, exciting, embarrassing, gloomy and not-so-happening details are "coming up" shortly.
