Deep Within Me

Remember me as a poem or a song Which you play in loop to feel very strong Where everything has a rhythm and everything rhymes To bring you all the luck as the ringing wind chimes Remember me like a bird in the sky, Spreading its wings and enjoying the fly Who builds its own nest to rest at night Lives on its own terms as a matter of right Remember me as a part of you Which slowly, steadily and fondly grew As a smile that shines and glows on your face As a shadow in everything you do at any place Happiness, Kally

The feeling of fear had started to grind The war was between my heart and mind Mind marked that happiness was about to wind And vehement sorrows were stealthily lined I know this thought would have never inclined Coz the law of life had unknowingly signed The contract which declared that love was blind My dreams and hopes dwindled and declined Then suddenly stars of hope twinkled and shined My heart then said, be understanding and kind A way definitely your love will find As absence sharpens, presence strengthens the bind. I thought I learnt my lessons right  Deep-rooted inside and ready to fight  But the lonely feeling I feel at night  Brings that tender love back to light.  I have passed that dreary ocean of pain  Drenched in the salty tears that rain  Losing the heart, patience to gain  Now too hoping, sounds insane.  Being left alone with a heart that tore  Dreams, expectations -all went sour  In front of me, my life devour  Thorn in the flesh continues to roar.  No, I think I need to halt  Recognize and contemplate on my fault  Before I decide to revolt  And involve in a blow to assault!
