No more dreams

A wandering mind's random thought
Reached my conscience's parking lot
As I began to untie the moral knot
The strength of character started to blot

To leave it behind, I tried to run
Struggled with anger, shouted in return
But it followed me like a scorching sun
Reality and reverie refuse to discern

I decided to just stop and think
Memories of satire started to blink
Guilt and fear established a link
Under its pressure, I began to sink

Why am I getting pulled in these relentless streams
Burning what's left in countless steams
I keep hearing my own silent screams
Now night is about nightmares, no more dreams

Happiness,
Kally :).
