The Most Important Question

Dr. Jonas Salk, the inventor of polio vaccine, said that the most important question we should be asking ourselves is that, ‘Are we being good ancestors’?

In other words,

In our thoughts, in our actions,

In reality and our perceptions,

What are the consequences of our choices and decisions?

At home and at work,

Whether we are a doctor or a clerk

How what we do impacts mother earth?

For all children and our child,

For one particular region, or entire humankind

Is it going to be calm and peaceful or dangerous and wild?

 

The four core eras of humankind imposing what they need, want and desire on others can be divided as follows:

Though the first 3 were out of choice,

The fourth one is a necessity that needs a strong, bold and loud voice.

So that when we become someone’s ancestors

They have a reason to rejoice!
